Bringing AI and Intelligent Workflows Together
The recognized solution combines AI-assisted document inspection with Solimar Systems’ Rubika post-composition technology to create a more consistent and efficient production process.
The project brought more than 40 applications into a repeatable workflow, helping reduce production variables and simplify the onboarding of new applications. AI was used to identify potential privacy exposures for review, while Rubika supported the necessary document changes.
This approach demonstrates how AI can be applied within established print and mail operations to improve processes. By combining intelligent technology with practical production workflows, the solution helps organizations address operational and privacy requirements while creating a more scalable process.
Practical Innovation With Measurable Value
The recognition reflects a broader shift in the customer communications industry toward technology that delivers practical business value.
Rather than applying AI simply for innovation’s sake, the “Going 6×9” solution demonstrates how emerging technology can work alongside existing production systems to solve specific operational challenges. Standardizing applications into a repeatable process can also help teams improve consistency, simplify onboarding, and create greater control across production environments.
For Compu-Mail, LLC, the recognition highlights its continued focus on using technology and process innovation to strengthen customer communications and print production capabilities.
Celebrating Industry Innovation
Scott Mulkey, President & CEO of CXMPA, noted that this year’s award recipients stood out for directly addressing real operational challenges through simplified workflows, improved control, technology adoption, and solutions that create capacity for growth.
Following the announcement, the 2026 CXMPA Industry Award recipients shared their experiences during virtual Industry Awards Showcases on September 15 and September 17, highlighting the challenges they addressed, their technology approaches, and the results achieved through their implementations.
The 2026 CXMPA Industry Awards were formally presented on September 24 at PRINTING United Expo in Las Vegas as part of CXMPA’s full-day educational program.
The recognition of Compu-Mail, LLC, Solimar Systems, and Hansen360 highlights the value of collaboration and practical innovation in the evolving customer communications landscape.
