Grand Island, NY, October 11, 2017 - Compu-Mail has installed at its Grand Island facility an MFT 250 IP Friction Feeder and data card printer for variable card printing. These new stations are capable of tipping cards, coupons, stickers, and other inserts and come equipped with camera verification systems to ensure 100% match. Tipping is the process of inserting an object onto a mail piece via small dots of glue to an insert and adhering it to the page. Compu-Mail offers complete direct marketing services via mail and digital channels, as well as expanded commercial print production through subsidiary company Dual Print & Mail.

“These installations are an example of our commitment to continuously streamlining our production capabilities to ensure that we are always operating at the highest efficiencies,” commented Rich Baker, COO of Compu-Mail. “We can now provide clients with the ability to tip-on cards and other inserts right at the time of printing, saving them the added expense of having to outsource this step.”

The new equipment joins a fleet of Xerox Rialto 900, Canon Océ VarioPrint i300, iGen4 color digital presses, monochrome laser printers, and a full array of bindery and lettershop equipment. With the added capacity, Compu-Mail continues to produce high quality fully variable color digital print to enable clients to reach customers with unique and targeted messages.
